20 complete and utter selfish idiots people who attended an illegal rave in a railway arch in Tidworth Road, Tower Hamlets, E3 are now facing fines of £800 each after a police raid early on Saturday morning.
10 people had broken into a railway arch and used wooden crates to construct a bar.
Word went round and soon around 100 people were at the event.
Police turned up after numerous calls from nearby residents and many of the people at the party ran off through a graveyard.
Have a fine!
Due to the number of people involved the Met Police Territorial Support Group was called in to contain crowds and hand out fixed penalty notices of £800 each to 20 people.
“It is mad that people are still prepared to break the rules, despite the extreme loss of a life as a result of this virus,” said Chief Inspector Pete Shaw. “It is shameful some people are selfishly putting others at risk.”

As community journalists we do exactly what it says on our tin – we work for the community.
In Tower Hamlets, which covers most of London’s East End, that means we spend a lot of time investigating allegations of political corruption.
It is an unfortunate fact that the poorest local authority in the country is still beset by the highest levels of corruption.
As Love Wapping we were instrumental in exposing the electoral corruption of Mayor Lutfur Rahman.
