Demonstration against London road closures & Liveable Streets Saturday

Residents of Tower Hamlets are invited to join residents from Hackney, Lambeth and Islington for a democratic get together on Saturday to protest against London Road Closures, Liveable Streets, Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) and smug local councillors on Saturday 19th September 2020.

Meet outside Argos, Old Street, EC1V 9JS at 2pm. Much more fun than any Zoom meeting.

There will be a static protest against unnecessary London road closures, Liveable Streets nonsense, Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) lunacy, confusing consultations and the like then there will be a march for those who are able and willing.

Social distancing rules will be in force and don’t forget your mask.

Lame councillors

“Let’s show our lame councillors a united front and show them that the tail doesn’t wag the dog,” said one of the organisers.

Moley doesn’t have a dog (or a tail) but he understands the general idea.

It will also be a great opportunity to put (masked) faces to social media handles. Yes, people exist in real life.
